Risk Profiling

Investor Risk Profiling & Suitability

Investing involves different levels of risk depending on market conditions, time horizon and the type of products selected. To keep your investments aligned with your comfort level and financial goals, we use a structured Risk Profiling Questionnaire. Your responses help us understand both your ability and willingness to take risk so that our recommendations remain suitable for you.

At Investindiaonline, your capital and our commitment start with understanding your risk profile before any investment is made.

What this questionnaire covers

  • Risk Tolerance – How comfortable you are with market ups and downs, temporary losses and volatility.
  • Risk Capacity – Your financial ability to absorb potential losses, considering income stability, emergency funds and near‑term obligations.
  • Risk Required – The level of risk needed to realistically reach your return expectations and long‑term goals.

Together, these three dimensions help us categorize your overall profile (for example, Conservative, Moderate or Aggressive) and design a suitable asset allocation for your investments.

How we use your responses

  • We record your answers and total score to derive an overall risk profile category.
  • We use this profile while suggesting products and constructing your portfolio so that recommended investments match your documented risk level and time horizon.
  • If you later choose investments that are higher risk than your profile, we may document this as “unsuitability” and explain the additional risks to you in writing.

Confidentiality and updates

Your information is kept confidential and is used only for risk assessment and suitability of your investments. We recommend updating your risk profile at least once a year, or whenever you have major life or financial changes (change in income, new loans, change in goals, change in dependants, etc.).

Important risk disclosures

  • Mutual fund and securities market investments are subject to market risks; returns are not guaranteed.
  • Past performance does not indicate future results; portfolio values may go up or down.
  • The Risk Profiling tool is an aid for decision‑making and suitability; it does not eliminate investment risk.

Please complete the Risk Profiling Questionnaire below with honest and thoughtful responses. It usually takes about 5–10 minutes, and a copy of your customized risk profile will be shared with you by email for your records.
